โ ๏ธ Low tier is the cheapest but also the slowest โ Google's free-tier model is often busy and the app has to retry, so replies can take 20โ40 s. Mid is the sweet spot; Premium is the best writing.
Per-turn estimates assume prompt caching is hitting (the ๐ฐ line in the story shows the real number). Haiku's cache only kicks in after ~4,000 tokens of history, so early turns bill full price. Gemini models run on the Google AI Studio key in the Image engine section โ same key for both; Google's free tier works but is rate-limited and may use your conversations for training.
v2 rebuilds the AI's "brain": characters get a VOICE sheet (wants / hides / how they talk / a sample line) the moment they first speak, and every turn is a short creative brief instead of a wall of rules. Switch back to v1 anytime โ same stories, same save data.
Premium uses Google's Gemini image model โ noticeably better anime art. Get a free key at aistudio.google.com โ Get API key. Image generation requires billing enabled on the key's Google project. Falls back to Standard automatically if a premium image fails.
