Schools, agencies, gangs, guilds, families. Every cast member can belong to one, and the writer is handed a faction's note whenever it comes up.

The arcs a guided story works through, in order — like an anime season. Each has a title, when it lands, what it is about, three landmarks and a payoff. The player can still go anywhere; the world brings these to them.
The people of this world. Their personalities are played exactly as written and they are introduced naturally over time. Anime-Tales originals carry 40; write as many or as few as you like and let the forge fill the rest.

🧭 Guided: the season's arcs find you. 🏝️ Sandbox: nothing big happens unless you make it. ⚔️ Story mode: guided plus levels, XP and dice.
🙂 Solo: one player. 🤝 Co-op: built for two player characters — Generate opens a lobby to invite a friend. ⚔️ Party: a tabletop-style Dungeon Party for up to four, settled by the d20. The world is marked that way on the shelf when you publish.
🎭 Theater opens the story on the stage with voices (+4 credits a turn). 🌅 Parts of the day uses dawn → midnight instead of clock times.
Which brain a player's story opens with. v4: every character keeps their own memory of the player, so promises, deaths and secrets hold over hundreds of turns; replies take a bit longer and the price per turn is the same. Players can still switch in the story menu. Solo stories only — co-op and parties always use the regular brain.
A filter on how the story is written: the prose changes, the story, the memory and the characters' own voices don't. Players open your world in this style and can still change it in the story menu.
What this story has. The switches start from your genres; once you change one, they're yours. Players of your world get exactly these features, and anything that's off stays out of every turn.
